What A Game

By now, most people know that despite some doubts and fears we beat the Patriots! This week was an exciting week for the cheerleaders and a pressure filled week for the players.

This game was particularly special for the Miami Dolphins Cheerleader Alumni. The Miami Dolphins presented the Cheerleaders of the Past, Present and Future. We had an extra rehearsal the day before the game for a fantastic number during halftime. At the rehearsal, we put on a fashion show for our Alumni. A few of the current cheerleaders modeled outfits that were worn and cheered in from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. It was a fun filled day and everyone looked forward to putting on a great, retro halftime show.

Within the first quarter of the game the Patriots scored a touchdown. We were a bit despondent but instead of losing hope we delivered even more energy. Then Davone Bess scored a Miami touchdown. We were ecstatic and hopeful. By halftime we were only down by four!

My favorite play of the game had to be when Brian Hartline scored a touchdown and increased our odds of winning. Luckily for us, our group was dancing in that corner of the field so the touchdown was that much closer and to know it made such a big difference in the game is a pretty overwhelming feeling. Other favorite moments of the game came from the fans. The fans were amazing! They were extremely passionate about this game and in my opinion made a huge difference.

Overall this was an amazing game and a great win for us. I will never forget this game and am also very proud of our group for getting group of the game and cheering so well.

Keep your Fins Up Miami!
