Living the Cheerleader Life - Football Fashionista with Tiffany

When you think football, some of the first things that come to mind are tailgating, cheerleaders and most importantly: field goals, sacks, tackles, and touchdowns. There are a lot of girls who wake up on game day, just as excited as the guys, to go out and support their Miami Dolphins.  The big question on our mind is, "what we are going to wear?"

While the guys show up in their oversized jerseys, we need to think outside of the box and go for a comfortable yet much more stylish look. We all enjoy living in the beautiful tropical weather so when thinking about your outfit you have to make sure you're keeping cool and protecting your skin. Don't forget to pack your sun block or tanning lotion, because you will definitely be catching some sunny Florida rays.

The ideal game day outfit for me would consist of a comfortable pair of denim or dark color shorts. Just in case it rains or your friendly neighbor decides to spill their drink, any stains will be less visible on a darker color. On the top you want to remember that it's hot and you will want to stay cool, so a tube or tank top would be the best option. You want to make sure your top has your team logo or team colors to guarantee not getting confused with our opponents' fans! If you're feeling really creative you can even take a large t-shirt and cut it up in a fun unique way to really stand out. Just be careful it doesn't fall apart at the game!

For shoes you have to think comfort and remember it's a football game, not a runway show. So grab a pair of sporty sneakers or even sandals that you can walk and jump around in when you're cheering for your team.

There are so many ways that you can accessorize your look for the game:

• Wearing tube socks over your sneakers
• Even if you're having a bad hair day its nothing a cute hat can't fix!
• Any Dolphin color bracelets or earrings can always add to your Dol-Fan look.
