Dolphins Cheerleaders Spread Holiday Cheer

This year, myself and the rest of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders wanted to do a little more for the holidays for the community. We decided to help out "Dolphins Give Back," a group of Dolphins Fans that go to every single game and collect items for a different cause at each tailgate party. Last month they collected canned goods for a shelter. This month, for the holidays, they collected decorations for a kid's homeless shelter and toys for the Jubilee Center. Last year the Jubilee Center didn't have any toys to hand out so this year they wanted to change that.

There were over 100 children on the wish list we were given, so I told Vicki Pestrichelli, (the woman who made this all possible), that the cheerleaders wanted to help. We broke up the list and the cheerleaders took 20-25 kids. As a squad, we bought and collected over 50 gifts!

The day we delivered the toys, the Jubilee Center's director was in tears. There were hundreds of presents, so many that some kids even got extra toys. We took photos with Santa and signed autographs. The kids were so excited. It felt really great to help out the community, especially during the holidays and it's also great that people can see that the Miami Dolphins fans are the most giving fans in the NFL.

Happy Holidays,

Fabiola
