Bittersweet Game

It was a Sunday afternoon with temperatures in the low 60s, and a stadium full of cheering Dol-Fans; all perfect conditions for a Miami Dolphins football game. Waiting in the tunnel to perform our pregame routine brought the same emotions and butterflies as all of the previous games throughout the season. As I stepped onto the field, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey through my rookie season as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader and all the wonderful memories that were made. Whether it be the tough practices that we supported each other through, the inside jokes we created, or the friendships that will last a lifetime, the 2009-2010 MDC Squad would never be the same.

Cheering on the sidelines and supporting the team as they fought to try and comeback against the Steelers was a feeling like no other. Not only does the team's accomplishments give us energy, but the energy of the Dol-Fans keeps us smiling. My experience as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader is one that I will never take for granted. The injury that Pat White sustained late in the 3rd quarter reminded myself, as well as the other girls, just how lucky we are to zip up our boots, put on our uniform, and cheer on the sidelines during each home game.

I would also like to congratulate Tiffany on being named our 2010 Pro Bowl Cheerleader. She is an amazing captain, dancer, and overall leader who will best represent us at the Pro Bowl. To the rest of my MDCs, I want to say thank you for an amazing year and making this experience that much better. It was a pleasure to be a part of this team with you. As a team, we look forward to seeing all Dol-Fans on the sidelines next season.

Dolphins Kisses!
